Alyssa Pollman is our Nurse Practitioner for Colorado Center for Gynecologic Oncology. Her journey in oncology began when she was a child. She watched three of her grandparents go through their own cancer journeys. Her first job in the medical field was as a nurse’s aide on the pediatric oncology floor. She was an ICU RN for many years and had the pleasure of taking care of many oncology patients throughout her RN career. Joining the CCGO team was a natural transition for her.
She is originally from Meridian, Mississippi and moved to Colorado for work in 2008, with Blue Sky Neurology. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Graceland University and is licensed and board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Alyssa also has two undergraduate degrees: one in Fine Arts, where she studied Fabric Design at the University of Georgia and the other in Nursing from the University of Mississippi.
Alyssa is loving the Colorado sunshine! She tries to spend as much time outside as possible hiking, skiing, running and gardening. She enjoys going to concerts to see live music, reading and loves a good arts and crafts project.
